Please be patient as both music and pictures load on this page

The music on this page is meant as a sing -a- long with you joining in the chorus so make sure you do!

Music by Sean Dunphy - Come back Paddy Reilly, Green Glens of Antrim and you have to join in on this one THE WILD ROVER !!

I was only in Ireland for a week but here are a few general views for you to look at. I stayed in the South West area of Ireland on the borders of County Kerry and County cork. This is where I stayed with the old jalopy outside. It was in County Cork ( Just ) on the Beara Peninsular and with views like this from the dining room I did not hurry my meals.

The Healy Pass is arguably the most beautiful mountain pass in all of Ireland. The Pass crosses the Beara Peninsula and it has a definite Alpine look and feel with spectacular views throughout. This shot was taken overlooking Glanmore Lake which is on the descent side of the summit that reaches 1100 ft. The Beara is not as heavily travelled as the other south Western peninsulas and that's good for the discriminating traveller because it is well worth the time and effort to explore. If you love beautiful scenery, you will not be disappointed. I had to traverse this pass every time I went out and came home - tricky in the dark and spooky in a mist! See below for more of the same.
